Late 1940’s Detailed Scene of men hammering a shield with a goddess to one side and a prophet on the other crafted into a Brass Brooch. · Measures: 2.3” x 1.4” · Some wear on the high points of the piece as well as some patina. Trombone clasp is in good working order. Some scratching a patina on the backside of the piece. · The Estate of Augusto Borselli. Mr. Borselli moved to the US in 1951 and brought these pieces with him. The paperwork you see following the pieces are the custom documents from the period where he declared the jewelry pieces he was bringing over. Not all those listed remained with the collection.
