kgsouthbeach I have a thing for vintage clothing/fashion & have been thrifting and collecting for 30 yrs. the difference in things made today vs. 20 years ago is amazing. Things used to be made to last! Now I’m aging myself & sound like my grammaw, lol! I have a few of grammaw’s beautifully tailored Easter suits that I could sell for hundreds today, but I can’t bring myself to part with them. How do you do it @okamamama?

okamamama @twunder I have been some flavor of homeless for 10 years. I was lucky to find a lease this year & I am simply done owning things. I value my health and my family, I no longer have room to hold on to items. I also have 30 years of wonderful items with wonderful memories, I just hope that they can find new homes and be a part of new wonderful memories 😄

kgsouthbeach @okamamama That is so sad...and I am SO glad you were able to get settled this year. I'm also at the point to where I no longer want to store/care for the items I've collected over the years due to similar reasons. I am ALWAYS pleased when I sell something I treasured to someone who truly appreciates it as much as I do/did. I don't know how long you've been selling, but it DOES get easier to let go of things.
