Department 56 The 12 Days of Dickens Village VIII Eight Maids A-Milking Xmas Features: • Stock #58384 - Released 1996/Retired 2000 • This is a two-piece set portraying a woman carrying two buckets and a cow with milking supplies at its feet. • The 12 Days of Dickens' Village Accessory series is a porcelain collection inspired by the Christmas Carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” Each piece features gold accents in some form or fashion in its design. Through the years there has been conversation regarding the artist's interpretation of the designs for the tenth and eleventh in the series due to the many interpretations of the song, itself. The collection is often used by collectors in conjunction with the Twelfth Night subseries which is also inspired, to some degree, by the iconic song. Condition: Pre-Owned Good Very good pre-owned condition - in original box and styrofoam - box is in poor condition with part of the top torn away and has a lot of shelfwear and tape on it, but it is still usable as you can tell in the photos.
