Department 56 Birch Tree Design Ceramic Cup

Charming ceramic cup with a birch tree design. Features a natural cream color with brown accents. Retired department 56 piece. I'm not sure exactly the purpose of this item.I think it would make a great pencil hold! at one point I had a platter in this design. I'm not sure what other pieces came with this set. Either way, it's very pretty! No chips or cracks, it measures approximately 4 inches tall and 2 and 3/4 inches across.
