Originally the name for the collection was Samarkand. It was changed to Arabesque to avoid confusion with collections from other manufacturers. Samarkand is described as 'dark brown semi-matte glaze with brown, yellow, and red enamels, and with a painted Arabesque pattern of circles and a daisy in the center.' No chips, cracks, scratches, repairs, etc.
