Dell Latitude e5540 Will Not Turn On

I have a Dell latitude e5540 that does not turn on missing battery. The laptop was purchased in a lot and I am not sure what all could be wrong with it so it is being sold as is no returns buy at your own risk. The default item description may be wrong so what you see in the pictures is what you will get.
