Delicate signed Haitian Painting by Pierre Alex

I am selling this beautiful delicate Haitian painting. The light touch of the brushstrokes and the pastel colors evoke peace and serenity. Turquoise in the sky blends to yellow and pale green, and then darker green. Flowers in the trees are coral and pink, with various green leafy accents. NOTE: Actual colors are slightly lighter than photo shows, and your monitor may also alter the color. This lovely artwork has been painted with such care and attention to detail. Original painting is signed in lower right: Pierre Alex, a Haitian painter, active in the 20th century. His style was folk art in landscapes and figural work. Size: 10" x 8" Canvas is secured to the stretchers with nails and glue. You will need to add wiring or sawtooth hardware in order to hang it. Good condition. Auction estimates elsewhere on the internet go as high as $1000 for his larger works. This little lovely would look beautiful in your den or sitting area, or bathroom, or bedroom.
