sdlambert Oh my goodness! I totally forgot to measure that when I got home- so sorry! The overall length is 14"- however the bottom part of the strap that attaches to the back of the tank has a small amount of elastic. I didn't realize this originally. It's awesome- so it will help the strap adjust the size you need and keep it in place and not sliding. I've included an up close pic. I hope that helps!
