Decorative Aluminum Bowl With Porcelain Insert and Hand Painted Flowers 1940s

A very unique hand hammered aluminum bowl with a porcelain bowl Insert. Made in the 1940s. It was created by Farber and Shlevin in Brooklyn, NY. It has roses on the one inch lip and a crimped, smooth, sawtooth edge. The aluminum was rolled and coiled into a unique handle. The pretty insert porcelain bowl features brown flowering tree with flowers and peach, rose, blue, and yellow flowers. The edge of the bowl is intricately detailed with a floral scroll design in silver. In wonderful vintage condition. Dimensions with handle 8 3/4 inch and without handle 7 inch diameter two inches deep. Non smoking pet free home.
