Fabric is the absolute thinnest, gauziest, drop-to-your-knees-and-beg midnight black silk. In contrast, I find the simple white lace trim very modest and sensible (as if that will somehow tone things down a bit - not likely.) In very nice condition with expected signs of age and use - a few pulled threads here and there, a bit of fraying, a few small white marks - overall, surprisingly intact considering just how delicate this garment truly is. Wear it gently. Tempting as it may be, do not let anyone ravenously tear it off of you. Make it a “look, but do not touch” kind of game, you know?
