Dear John pink pants

Are they pants? Are they jeans? Maybe they are jants because they are both just as comfy. See pics for marks. They aren't super noticeable, but I will always point them out. Comes from a non-smoking home with one dog (🐕 an airedale). Please feel free to ask any questions.
