In 1962 DeNicola released his first collection “The Real Look”, which included designs representing marine life. This lovely gold plated turtle brooch carries the oval maker's mark on the underside (see photo #5). This turtle features detailed gold accents to bring lifelike appearance and the "shell" is a large teardrop polished cabochon of deep brown topaz. The turtle's tiny green crystal eyes complete the look. This high quality turtle pin has a smooth working clasp, is in perfect condition, and measures 1 7/8" X 1". It will be delivered in a gift box and would make a handsome lapel pin.
