krhooper1 Hey! I just opened my bottle i purchased from you and the scent isn’t the same as davines oil I have purchased at my salon before. Is this the same product? It almost has a chemical smell and I am leery of using it. Thanks

jillhegarty @lilfolksfashion I don’t smell them before I send ... I am sure Davines would stand behind this... if you don’t mind sending back to me a would be happy to replace... there not old on my end and I buy direct from my professional supplier... I definitely will research this issue some more!! Davines is one of my favorites and this disappoints me to hear..

lilfolksfashion @jillhegarty I know you purchase from them! You will smell it immediately! It’s this pungent after smell! And you know how how heavenly this typically smells! Before I ship back to you, can you see if they will stand behind and ship one directly to me? Is that possible? And you can even return my bottle to them to demonstrate the odor. Maybe it’s just a bad batch. 🙁

lilfolksfashion @jillhegarty and I just want to add, Jill has been a doll to work with and was super speedy and professional! I also purchased shampoo and hair butter - Davines, Oi line and they smell perfectly fine. I think something is up with the batch of oil! That’s all!

krhooper1 @lilfolksfashion yes I had the same problem from the same seller and I felt bad as I thought she thought I was accusing her of counterfeit products when in fact I wasn’t - I was just asking why it didn’t smell or feel the same as other davines oil I have used in past. So I ended up just eating the purchase and I still have the product and haven’t used it because I know it isn’t the same thing I have used in past
