sarahhsantos Hi! I noticed that the cable design on the bands are going in the same direction rather than opposite-I have an 11mm Albion that also has the design going in the same direction. The newer ones in the DY website have the designs in the opposite direction, so did older versions of this ring feature same direction cable designs?

danielad84 @sarahhsantos Hi , that's correct ! The cables are twisted in the same direction on the older Albion version. But that still is not an indication that a ring is authentic. Back then , the manufacturers of replica/fake Yurman were reproducing the same look. Some , but not all of the older version would carry stamp of the size of the ring on the smooth part of the inner shank. Fakes didn't have that but many authentic ones didn't have it too.

danielad84 @sarahhsantos That being said, if you are trying to figure if your ring is authentic or not , there are many indicators but the direction of the cable twist is not one of them 🙂

sarahhsantos I found your profile after seeing someone asking for advice on authenticity on an Albion ring. Would you be willing to look at pictures of one I have? It’s a Lemon Citrine Petite Albion with higher profile gemstone, similar to the petite black orchid design. This may not be the correct platform, so if you’re open to it let me know the best way to do this and if you have a fee?
