Cocktail ring Designed by David Webb (1925-1975).
An outstanding cocktail ring, created in New York city at the jewelry atelier of David Webb, back in the 1975. This ring has been designed with bold geometric patterns and carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and platinum for the settings of the diamonds. It is embellished with a great selection of natural earth mined gemstones such, forty-two diamonds and one blue sapphire. Webb's jewelry from this period are very rare and great collector's pieces.
Diamonds: Mount around in prongs settings, with 42 calibrated marquise brilliant cut diamonds, 4.20 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.
Sapphire: Mount in the center in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (16.5 x 14.5 x 15 mm) of a natural blue sapphire of 36.24 carats.
Birthstone: Sapphire for the month of September.
Weight: 24.5 Grams, (15.75 Dwt.).
Size: 7.5 and can be easily resized on request.
Measurements: 30 mm by 16 mm (1.18 x 0.63 Inches) and raise 16 mm over the finger
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the marks for the assay of the gold and and the platinum and signed, "DAVID WEBB 18KT PLAT".
