Beautiful statement necklace from Anthropologie — the owl has a mother of pearl-esque sheen to it! Lovely for the fall with the leaf motif. There is a little bit of wear on the rope side of the necklace, shown in pictures, but you can’t see it at all when it’s on.

margokmaier @sandhyas it’s just a bit of loosening of the coil on the rope part, not really damage just a sign of age/light wear.

sandhyas @margokmaier And is that all through the rope part or in a particular spot? Trying to figure out if it will loosen up further and make it unwearable:-)

margokmaier It is capped with those gold barrels on either end, so I don't think that it is possible for it to completely come undone. If you look at the top of the rope in the first picture you can see a bit of the thread coming off of the rope, that is the most significant damage but you can probably shellac it to the body of the rope with clear nail polish if you want to make it more bulletproof.
