Waist band measures 15 &7/8" on one side, so for full size waistband: 31.75" inch. The full height of the shorts from top of waistband to the bottom of the leg length - measures: 26 &7/8 inch. These are comfy stretchy shorts. There are no pockets in back and 2 fake pockets in front (to flatter the tummy). There is no zipper or button up fixture, so the shorts can comfortably pull up.
