Dark Black Glass Compote Vase

This is a striking looking black amethyst compote glass vase with tall pedestal. It looks solid black, but if you hold it up to the sun or a very bright flashlight a purple tone shows where the light is concentrated. In normal light this vase is a deep, dark black color. Condition: Good vintage condition with no chips. There are some light areas of surface wear due to age and what looks like hard water or oxidation on the inside surface of the bowl, but you have to look close and is not noticeable when displayed. Two mold lines are visible on the pedestal. Approx.
