Dansk International Japan Silver Plate Cat Paperweight, Vintage Japan Animal

Beautiful high quality Dansk Designs heavy Silver Plate Kitty Cat figurine or paperweight, made in Japan. In exceptional condition. This lovely silver Cat Paperweight is made from silver plate on zinc. It was designed by Scandinavian silversmith Gunner Cyren in the 1970s and is visually stunning. Its smooth ergonomic Danish design makes this Cat lovely to handle. In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks etc. It is quite tarnished due to age, but should polish up well if you prefer that look. Please view photos. Measures about 2 1/4 in high. The base is protected with black baize covering around the edge. The base stamp says “Dansk International Designs LTD Japan EPZ NC ©”. Would make a lovely gift for a Cat lover or a collector of these Dansk Designs silver figurines. This paperweight is a lovely example of Scandinavian style and excellent Danish design.
