Over 85 years in the leather boot business, Danner continues to leave its mark on the industry.   This pair of  Explorer 650's is a prime example of why Danner's reputation remains strong amongst high-end boot manufacturers. These boots are in really great condition and have years of life ahead of it.  A nice coat of mink oil was recently applied to condition and preserve the leather. There are some scuffs on the leather and small marks on the upper, but that is expected of any boot that has hit the trail. The Vibram soles exhibit some typical wearing from exposure to various sand and rock surfaces. However, the treads are in really good condition (see pic). Midsoles of these Danner boots provide a durable, cushining platform, and the outside sole offers best in class traction for multiple types of terrain. Designed to be worn on and off the hill, with a retro/ workwear influence, the Explorer 650 combines full grain leather with nylon panels to keep the weight down in a classic above the ankle cut.
