Vintage Danbury Mint sculpture of NYC's World Trade Center Twin Towers, made after they were destroyed by terrorists on 9/11/ 2001. This commemorative sculpture is made of hand-painted cold cast porcelain (resin) and is meticulously detailed in every aspect of the Twin Towers and the surrounding lower buildings. It even has the bronze Sphere sculpture that stood in the plaza. The brass plaque on the base reads "September 11, 2001 - "We will not waver; we will not tire; we will not falter; we will not fail. Peace and freedom will prevail." President George W. Bush". The bottom of the wood base reads "The Twin Towers Commemorative - The Danbury Mint - ©MBI". It measures 10" tall by 9" wide by 7" deep, and weighs 2.5 lbs. This Twin Towers is in great shape with the mast and the US Flag intact on top of the Towers. A spectacular replica of America's lost skyscraper.
