Danbury Mint "Bluebirds" By Roger Tory Peterson. Serial number is 1017 Made by Kaiser of W. Germany. Trimmed top and bottom in 24K gold.  Vase is decorated from two sides with identical expressive pictures of Bluebirds pink flowers and green leafs and tree branches on white background. It is fully glazed. Measures approximately 11" tall x 6" widest diameter. Opening is approx 3” No chips, cracks or crazing. Roger Tory Peterson was an American naturalist, ornithologist, artist and educator, held to be one of the founding inspirations for the 20th-century environmental movement.
