Special Edition Teddy Bear; dressed as President Teddy Roosevelt, approximately 10" tall sitting. This edition was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the teddy bear--named for Teddy Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt was our 26th President and in 1902; on a hunting trip, he refused to shoot an old bear that had been tracked and cornered by dogs and subsequently tied up by his hunt guides for an easy 'kill'.
