The domed cabochon is a reddish brownish color. The earrings have a goldtone metal base. They are in good vintage condition. Donald Stannard was first mentioned in Vogue in 1972 when he started is own line after being an assistant to Kenneth J Lane. He went on to become a famous designer of jewelry for Broadway shows like "Evita" and "Hello Dolly" as well as TV shows such as "Dynasty".
