DL Auld Red Mesh Snake Belt / Necklace

Vintage excellent condition accessory that has a dual purpose of a necklace or belt. 38” long. This is made of metal mesh (scales) and has a clip underneath the head of the snake to secure it. DL Auld company mark (A with wings) is located on the underneath of the snake head to confirm authenticity. DL Auld was founded in 1870 and produced high end jewelry and accessories. In 1912, they were hired by Henry Ford to create a name plate emblem for the Model T. They are still in business today but focus more on automobile manufacturing.
