This vintage knee-length, double-breasted coat (circa 2000) has so many special details that make it fit for a Scottish princess! The wool plaid is rich shades of purple with a jaunty teal stripe. The empire waist makes it SUPER flattering!!! Not going to lie, I loved this coat and wore it A LOT, most recently on the Old Course at St. Andrews. It is, however, in excellent condition. There is minor pilling, to be expected from a high quality vintage wool garment. (I removed a few quite easily with a standard lint comb.) The chartreuse satin lining is also in excellent condition, see photos. The thoughtful seaming, curved lines and fun touches (like the bangle at the back of the collar and lace hanging loop) are pure Donna Karan. This fits like a true women's medium. Approximate measurements when buttoned and laid flat are forthcoming. As always, from a smoke-free and pet-free closet!
