I have always been a huge fan of Donna Karen New York since the late 90’s and the early 2000’s; they are one of the most consistent high end, couture brands that I know because, whether they are designing for their more affordable lines, or designing runway couture, their unwillingness to put out garbage and rely on their brand name is always so evident. With their more practical and everyday items, like this piece, they never disappoint me with their keen attention to details, trends and just clean and sleek execution and designs, and it’s always always practical. Many other big brand names will design beautiful couture lines and then lazily produce a lot of garbage on the lower end of their street lines while relying on their huge name brand, and people buy it. On the other hand, DKNY has integrity, and, like any great artist, they seem to care about everything that carries their name. This blinged out crew neck sweater is no different and is the perfect representation of what I’m talking about. It’s like glammed out rock n roll meets the cool mom, who would match this with some super, chic designer jeans and some vivid colorful designer sneakers. At least, that’s the way I would style it. You can even dress it up if you want to, but I think that it’s more effortlessly luxurious in a casual way; the silver logo is just the icing on the cake that makes it so modern, contemporary, sleek and STYLISH SizeXXS Material tag torn off/Excellent condition: no imperfections at all.
