Traced back to an Italian Lottery in 1530, Bingo was first played in North America in 1929. Originally called "Beano" -- the game was very popular at carnivals and country fairs. Cardboard boxed set. (Fourth picture is the original box the set fits in) All pieces fit in this box for storage. Includes a solid wood base with a smooth winding path for game numbers to be called at the end of the path! The metal Bingo cage holds 75 solid plastic balls with Bingo letters and numbers. When turned, the ball collects in the tiny ball cup and is opened and delivered to the Bingo Master caller and placed on the cardboard Master board shown. Bingo cards are printed on both sides of each card allowing for 70 different Bingo card combinations!
