* D'Arceau-Limoges Premier Ed. Lafayette Legacy Collectors Plate, vintage 1973

This is plate #1 Premiere Edition in the Lafayette Legacy collectors plate series issued in 1973 by D'Arceau-Limoges in honor of the upcoming United States Bicentennial coming in 1976. I cannot read French, but I believe this plate indicates that it commemorates Lafayette signing a secret contract in December 1776 to become enlisted in the Army of the Insurgents in the presence of an American agent. This plate is numbered 450 and is in like-new condition!
