D’Arceau Limoges Plates Les Femmes Du Siecle: Beautiful Vintage 1978 D'Arceau Limoges Collectors Plate Helene la Intrepide La Mode A Fout Prix 1943. Crafted from fine porcelain and finished with a white and gold colorway. Storage box included. This plate is part of a series entitled Les Femmes du Siecle - Women of the Century, made by Henry D'Arceau & Fils in Limoges, France. The series was commissioned by the Parisian Fashion Chamber and it depicts western (hemisphere!) women's fashions from 1865 to 1965. Made in Limoges in the 1970's, these plates were hand decorated and signed by Francois Ganeau, a Parisian artist. -8.25" in diameter -Registration number on back -Excellent condition. No breaks, chips, or cracks.
