DANCING WITH ME. D. Distressed Fur Felt Cowboy Hat SOLD

This started out as a great quality fur felt blend cowboy hat. It’s been dyed, painted, burned, and heat etched, sanded and sealed. The band is from a rattlesnake hide that my friend had bought many years ago in Arizona. They’re super expensive but I traded labor for what was left after I banded his vintage Stetson with the rattle end of it. I’ve saved it to make a few special creations on hats that are worthy of it! The rattlesnake (you can see the tack holes where the skin was stretched while drying in the Native American way) is sewn and glued on, then overlaid with frayed bandana, leather laces, and finished off with a wild turkey feather, a raven feather and an African porcupine quill.
