D. L. Debbie Engle Yorkshire Terrier Pure Bred Dogs Miniature Bronze a statue. Exquisite in character and detail, the series of miniature dog breed bronzes by D. L. Engle are collected and loved the world over. Yorkshire Terrier. This edition was initiated in May of 2001 and was sold out by July of 2003. This line of limited edition art bronzes was carried by a few dog show vendors (notably the Stone Bros. and Purple Shamrock), at major AKC shows coast to coast, some Crufts and World Shows from the early 90’s to about 2010. Signed by the artist, each is a limited edition of 50 lost wax castings in solid bronze that averages 2 to 3 inches. Since their inception in the early 90’s over 120 different editions of the miniature bronzes have been created representing approximately 80 different breeds with approximately 47 editions now sold out. D. L. Engle is an elected Fellow of the National Sculpture Society and the inaugural recipient of the Marilyn Newmark Memorial Grant for outstanding achievement and dedication to animal art and a Signature Artist of the California Art Club.
