Cypraea (Zoila) friendii friendii

Cypraea (Zoila) friendii friendii is a sought after collector shell. These are getting hard to get these days. This one is a form that has really good color and is a nice size shell. As is the case with the majority of the Zoilas collected. It has a few natural flaws that have been considered in the pricing. The flaws on this shell include small non important natural growth flow and a couple of small spots about the size of a push pin where the enamel was being formed did not coat the shell properly. Not all shells of this species have this kind of color as there is some orange(ish) tinting on the margins. A shell similar to this sold for a little over $300. This is a great opportunity to get one of these highly collectable shells for cheaper.
