Petra, Jordan was ancient city in South Jordan. It was built between the third century B.C.E. And 106 C.E.
The American Museum of Natural History created an exhibit on Precious Petra and Cynthia Gale designed this beautiful work of art inspired by the ancient Petra relics and motifs.
Brand new vintage condition. With tags. The inside diameter measures 2-5/8" across. It is 1/4" wide and 5.9 mm thick - a nice, sturdy bangle. This bangle will easily fit up to a 7" wrist. It would probably be too large for a very small wrist.
It is marked 925 and signed
Cynthia Gale.
The weight is 27.1 grams
The exhibit Opened in October 18, 2003 and closed July 6, 2004. Located in Section 20, Floor 4 in Gallery 4 at the American Museum of Natural History. "Petra: Lost City of Stone" was an exhibition about the ancient city of Petra and its creators, the Nabataeans.
