I’ve been making my ID Beads since 2008 when a teacher friend bought my first necklace and earrings set off my body. I’ve developed a jewelry line that is strong enough to withstand the daily ID lanyard use and is also beautiful jewelry. You can help me make the ID holder of your dreams. idbeads @mizcj I’ve been doing this for 10 years. Your getting quality. “it won’t fall apart in a month! ” I had a test market break them 2009-2010. I studied them and my friends started calling me “the expert”. That’s when I realized I AM. My Czech glass line is very popular but I really enjoy people dreaming up a design and I try to make it for them. Custom orders are fun. If you don’t like it you don’t have to buy it.

idbeads @mizcj I love 💕 that! Let’s have some fun. I do need to know silver? gold? I might have some rose gold supplies I can search for too! Big bulky? Thin??? heavy light weight? Favorite colors. If you do have certain beads you really like it’s possible I have them available. I have a bead addiction so bring on the requests. Think about how long you might like it too.

idbeads @trinidad219 I’ve been thinking I have a variety of leather I can twist and beads like yours that can go toward the V area where the badge connects. I’m just not sure how heavy my beads are. I can’t braid my leather like yours because of the magnetic clasp but I can twist my leather. I’m going to have to search for the beads. I’ll be back in touch soon.

idbeads @trinidad219 Heavy three strand breaded non-breakaway would work but you requested breakaway style correct? The beads I have are expensive. Let me see if I can locate some more reasonably priced beads to mix with them. Or are the beads you have still good? If so we could work out a way for you to send them to me.

trinidad219 @idbeads well as long as it has some sort of clasp so I can undo it. It doesn't have to be breakaway. It's just hard to fit necklaces without clasps over my afro 🤣

idbeads @trinidad219 Would you consider a design? My beads will be real sterling (expensive $ and heavy). Too heavy for a breakaway style. If your beads are still good and lightweight we could find a way for you to mail them to me. I think I messaged you this last week. My leather, I 🤔, will be thinner and I can only used two strands (twisted not braided) if breakaway style) to attach to the barrel clasp.

trinidad219 @idbeads im ok with 2 strands. It doesnt have to look exactly like mine. I just like the versatility of earth tones.. black & browns. Feel free to design it however. I like the idea of only having beads around the key holder clasp. That way it blends with my other jewelry and/or outfit better

idbeads @trinidad219 I have a barrel clasp that is breakaway and it also locks to non-break when you need that function. The regular barrel clasp is free with purchase but if you want upgraded two function one (seen above) that clasp will be an additional $5. I’ll tag you on an example of the free one and better post of the $5 upgrade so you can look them over.

idbeads @trinidad219 I do have some ideas on how to add some volume/style to your design. I’m getting very exited about it. I have some really thin brown and black leather I can attach with beads to my thicker leather. I’ll need to show you a sampling of all colors ( slightly thinker) available for making badges. I’m getting excited!

balticqueen @idbeads I have a question for you. I have a beautiful semi precious stone eyeglass holder, that needs to be restrung. Do u do that? I also make jewelry but I don’t want to be bothered with redoing the eyeglasses holder. The loops at the end where you put the glasses handles thru is very lose. What would something like that cost?
