awalkingcloset Hi! I just came across this as I was searching. I was wondering as a seller, what to do. A buyer’s account got hacked before he purchased from me. Luckily he contacted me before I sent out the item to him. Item still shows sold, will I get a mark for not sending the item? How do I contact poshmark? Is it only through email? I’m sorry for bothering you, there’s not much info out there on what to do.

jwcraftinc @wheels Hi there. I was searching situations like these and found your post. My Poshmark account was compromised. I can’t access it. I believe once they got in, they changed the email. Whoever did this made an $825 purchase. I noticed the debit on my bank statement. I contacted my bank and I’ve reached out to Poshmark on Twitter, facebook and email. Did you speak to a person at Poshmark? I haven’t heard back from them. I don’t want that seller to send merchandise to the hacker.

wheels @jwcraftinc I would contact the seller and let the seller know you didn’t make that purchase so please do t send out the merchandise. Immediately contact Poshmark. Poshmark is really good when it comes to handling these situations. They will definitely get back to you. Let your bank stop the transaction and at least know you are disputing it. I’m so sorry to hear this happen to you. Please let me know the outcome. Good luck with everything.

wheels @jwcraftinc I’m confused. Contact Poshmark tell them what is going on. Take your payment info out of Poshmark so no further transaction will go through. I’m sure by now you have alerted your bank.

sarahflaforge I also was just hacked and frustrated by Poshmark's customer service by email only. No way for immediate action with them. That means whoever the seller is will get scammed and/or my cash balance will be depleted and I am powerless to do anything about it but wait and wait for a response from Poshmark. My account is @BuddyandHenry.

gypsie_g @spoynter1 my poshmark was just hacked as well! They cancelled the first order because they accidentally put my address. Then ordered something new with my name spelt totally wrong and an address 4 hours away from me. The “seller” of the product seems to be fake as there are no reviews and no actual pictures of the items, just stock photos. I emailed poshmark but don’t know what else to do. I can’t afford to lose money. I’m having to put my dog through surgery next week 😭

mustluvvintage I can't believe this is that common on poshmark! I just had it happen to me today, almost $3000 worth of product. I'm just sick with anxiety over this. I've contacted Poshmark and the sellers. So far only one of the sellers has responded.

wheels @juliannlazetera @juliannlazetera The first thing you should do is check your cards to see if there are any unauthorized purchases made. If so notify your credit card company ALSO alert them to this situation just in case someone has your info and try’s to use it. Change your password to your Poshmark account using “forgot your password” . Poshmark will contact you via your email so also check your spam /junk mail. Good luck with everything. poshstyleroom @wheels my account was hacked but I had no idea. All they did was change banking info and added their bank for redemption. I contacted posh support to stop processing the balance transfers. I’m so worried. If there was phone number I could’ve just call them and stop this. But I have to wait and I’m stressed

vacation_fund This just happened to me, my account was hacked and items were purchased. Poshmark has not been willing to do anything so far. I have reported it to my credit card and tried contacting the seller with no response. It shows that the items were shipped. This posher has only listed 2 items since 2014 and apparently I all the sudden bought them both on 2 separate transactions. Poshmark came back saying that it's a legally binding agreement once I place the order. I DID NOT PLACE THE ORDERS.

amaranth666 Someone hacked into my Posh account today! and posted a fake email in my Bio. This person keeps going into my bio and posting their email as if it's mine! asking all my followers for photos of their items to be sent to that email! I keep changing my password and they keep posting crap in my bio! what do I do? I already tried to contact Posh but Iv'e heard zero.
