@elizabethh4fdg3 There are no rips or tears. I have it preserved in a wedding box professionally. This alone was $250. I had hoped to pass it down but have sons. I will post more pics.

What year is this dress? It is stunning! So classical.

@amurphy926 sorry, for some reason this notification for your comment didn’t show up or notify me. So I just saw it now. I purchased it in 2005 or 2006 can’t remember exactly. As wedding planning and engagement was 2 years. But it was one of those years. Yes, it is classic and you feel like a princess in it. The pictures don’t do it justice as the silk is stunning.

@juleannlevin yes it is

juleannlevin
@angfrede is your price firm?
Jan 05Reply

angfrede
@juleannlevin You can make an offer but it’s pretty firm. I priced it to sell and it has already been cleaned and in a preservation box which alone costs $250 to make sure it stayed safe and in amazing condition. It is a one of a kind and you will not find anything close to its quality for what I have it listed for.

@angfrede it’s stunning. Just my second wedding and it looking to pay so much. Did you wear a big slip underneath?
Jan 05Reply

angfrede
@juleannlevin zero slip. It is already in the dress. So how you see it was just how the dress is. No extras underneath.

Hi there my daughter is getting married and loves the dress :) she is 5’8” and wearing pretty flat shoes but wondering how it’s altered to ensure it’s not too short in the front. May I ask how tall you are and the height of the heels you wore? What is the length of the veil? Thanks!
Jul 04Reply

angfrede
@mrikli I am 5’8 and wore a 3 inch heel. The veil is a medium length. I will try and find a picture to post.
Jul 07Reply

angfrede
@mrikli actually you can see the veil it is the one pictured with the gown.

mrikli
@angfrede thank you! Since the photos are more sepia toned and the dress is older and a final sale… would you please post photos of the fabric to see its condition and color in present time? We are very interested! Thanks
Jul 07Reply

angfrede
@mrikli there are some photos of it in color it is a very light champagne colored silk. So slightly off white but almost white. The dress is currently preserved in a box. I will see if I can find some clearer pics of it that are in color.

angfrede
@mrikli I added some photos of it in the bridal preservation box. You can see the color a bit more

@angfrede that helps so much thank you! I’m going to take her this Thursday to try on dresses and make sure that style is her favorite and then we will get back to you!

petunia0918
hi! love this dress. do you think it would be possible to remove the embellishment/strap and make it strapless?
Jan 15Reply

angfrede
@petunia0918 I’m not sure, sewing is not something I’m knowledgeable about. I don’t know if it could be removed without leaving marks in the silk material. You may want to consult a seamstress.

Hi ! I was wondering if you you knew the rough estimate of the bust and waist size.
Thank you in advance!
Feb 01Reply

angfrede
@azieljannet I can’t be positive I never had that altered. If it helps I’m normally between a 32DD and 34D. Waist im going to guess is 28 or 29. But again it is already in the preservation box so I do not have a way to measure. So you may want to just rely on the size of the dress.

Apr 20Reply

angfrede
@denise322 this was not your dress as that is me in the dress in the photos and I bought it new. So not sure what your comment means.
