noircoco @jmorone yes i could do it but you are looking at $60 I would need to buy the patent leather to weave in. Not available in small quantities so I’d have to buy a roll to get it done. It would take 2-3 days tops to ship out. Hope that helps!

I’ll tag you in one more listings where you see how it connects to the bag & you can still loop it over to get a 2nd Short Shoulder bag style when you want a cute chic dressy look like pic 5 but also your normal Crossbody length when worn single chain

noircoco @myreema ok got it! I think this chain will look best, if you are 5’6 a chain in 51” inches will hang like it does on picture 6. I’m 5’3- almost 5’4 not overly busty (average build) & I’m wearing a 47” long chain. So 51” should be perfect unless you want it to hang much lower than my picture or you have a bigger bust line where you feel the crossbody will extend more on the top so at that point I can add more length as well. Let me know your thoughts 💭

My only issue is because you need 51” I would need more materials essentially making 1 out of 2, so I can’t budge on the price due to fees but I promise you will not be disappointed. noircoco @irenesab for your height I definitely recommend the 47” chain for hip drop length and it’s hard to tell in the pictures the difference but it’s much shinier it’s more like picture number three. But still shines a bit more in person

noircoco @irenesab ok definitely glad you reached out, because your bag has 2 holes on each side & it is larger but if we want the chains to loop through this width is what you need. What I would recommend is a custom length strap with 2 small lobster clasp to connect in the inside flap. I’m going to post some pictures for you, to show what I mean. And ask you a few more questions

noircoco @andreastastney ok it took sometime b/c I went locally to see if I could find anything in 3cm after my supplier said but the biggest she could provide me is 2.5cm which is the size of a quarter for reference. If you have one handy maybe you can hold it up to the bag rings & see if it would hold up. Hope this helps & if anything changes I’ll be sure to reach out 🥰

kmaru @noircoco no problem! I created a listing as you suggested. The gold and black strap photos are from the Chanel website so should be used as the example of what I’d like. The silver and black are from a listing for sale elsewhere - those are to show you the grommets from the top and inside so you know where the strap goes on the purse. I don’t know if that purse is authentic so that leather shouldn’t be used as an example.

kmaru @noircoco My purse is getting refurbished right now, and the place I went to said I should look online to get replacement straps since they couldn’t do it there. Let me know if you have other questions! From what I’ve been able to see doing research, the strap total length is about 54-56 inches.

noircoco @kmaru OK I can make a chain at approximately 56 inches in length. what I can do is make it continuous, with a small break so that you can take the purse to a cobbler and they can remove the old chain and put in the new chain by joining the break in the links - you’ll barely be able to tell where the break is in the chain is. Is taking it to a cobbler doable for you? Usually any Purse or Shoe repair can do this without an issue, while you wait

noircoco @anapautirado99 since it’s Poshmark they don’t allow outside communication. Only way to do that here would be to post a listing with pictures of your bag, and a few pictures of where the chain would be thread through to give you an idea. Let me know the size of the bag in the listing & your height, so I can gauge an idea of how long the chain needs to be. Also just make sure to market it “not for sale” -

noircoco @anapautirado99 OK yes definitely knowing where you’d like bag to hang & your body style will help me determine custom length. I was looking over your bag, and it looks like the holes are much wider than the style that I normally carry so my Toggles would be too short they would slip out. I would recommend the closed loop clip as shown in my last picture of this listing. Let me know your thoughts.
