Currier & Ives Rocky Mountains Platter

Royal China, USA cake plate, serving platter or lugged serving plate made between 1949-1983 in the USA in the Rocky Mountains design from the line called Currier and Ives. The ironstone plate is 11.5 inches across the handles by is 10.5 inches in diameter. The Currier & Ives handled cake plate or platter is in good used vintage condition with no chips. It does have some kiln marks on the back. I cannot see any crazing. It is in good used, vintage condition. This beautiful platter was created by Royal in 1949, based on an iconic Currier & Ives print. The scene depicts pioneers crossing the Rocky Mountain in a wilderness landscape. Designer Gordon Parker created this blue and white porcelain pattern, which was sold through 1983. This tab-handled platter is in good vintage condition. Questions? Please ask.
