About Sharpsound: Sharpsound's love affair with spinning came about in the late 90's when if you weren't a DJ, you were a rapper, B-boy (or B-girl) or graffiti artist. Growing up on both rock and hip-hop, Sharpsound enjoyed listening to everything from Pearl Jam to Cypress Hill. As a producer, he is mainly influenced by Pete Rock and Lord Finesse, but as a DJ, the self-proclaimed scratch nerd looks up to DJ Craze, X-Men and Invisibl Skratch Piklz. He is a DJ/Producer from Miami who has worked with the likes of G-Unit, KRS-ONE, the Roots, Pitbull, Erykah Badu, Madlib, the Beatnuts, Quest Love, DJ Premier, Denzel Curry, Wrekonize, Mayday, and others.
