Crown Jewels Gems of Literature Art and Music Treasury 1888 Antique Book

This antique book is titled Crown Jewels Gems of Literature Art and Music and was published in 1888. The book features selections from the writings and musical production of the most celebrated authors from the earliest times and includes a biography of each author. It also is embellished with numerous steel plate engravings. The book does have some issues which considering its age is not surprising. The presentation page has come loose and needs to be reglued along with a few other pages which have some bending on the edges. The spine also has split in the center from the pages and would need regluing though the pages are all still intact (please see picture to better explain). There is also a bit of wear to the edges of the cover. Book though is complete and otherwise in great condition!
