Crescent Moon Fairy Wand/Fairy Stone - Clay Calcite Glacial Concretion

Rare aesthetic and overall interesting stone hand harvested in Sharon, Vermont; calcite clay concretions that were formed in glacial clays. These are sometimes referred to as 'fairy stone' concretions. They form as flattened rounded often multiple rounded concretions that are made up of calcite with clay. This is a large Fairy Stone, very solid and sparkles all over (which I tried to show in the 2nd photo). The light gray color shows better in the 2nd photo also, but when I zoom out to get the overall shape it appears brown through the lens; it is Gray. For those interested in the metaphysical the name of Fairy Stone is said to come from Native Americans who used them for good luck. These stones embody nurturing energy for the Earth and those upon it. They are children of the Earth Mother and bring to light the concerns for her and her well-being. Fairy stones have a deep practicality bringing pragmatic answers to seekers. This can manifest itself as prosperity and other practical benefits for daily life. These stones are excellent for meditation and meditation on the shape and energies of a particular stone can bring its own specific insights.
