is this water proof? how warm is it? I live in a snowy/now rainy and cold climate seeing if it would be good to run outside in.

@kshultz10 The front shell might be waterproof but the arms and back is not. Would say it more wind resistant running jacket. The front shell is fleece lined but not the arms or back. I would say it would be good for cooler spring and fall weather but not cold winter temps.
