From the porcelain factory in Limoges France. 8 1/2" in diameter. Casserole is 4" deep. No chips or cracks however there are signs of age and use such as minor loss of gilding on the lid knob. Please review the photos carefully and feel free to comment for more information.

renegade_moon @mrszwood Everything I have read says yes but because of the gilding on the outside, I personally would be mindful of anything being baked on that would need to be scrubbed off.....That's just me. I'm sure it could be cleaned gently...but not in the dishwasher! I hope this helps. it's a beautiful dish.
