Couroc Mid-Century Modern Hand Inlaid Wood, Metal, in Black Resin Bowls 1960's are the perfect conversation piece. Good condition. Only minor surface wear. This is a fabulous mid-century modern black resin Couroc bowl with mushroom/fungi, owl, citrus design handmade with inlaid shells, wood, metal in Monterey, California circa mid-20th century. These beautiful handmade resin pieces were all the rage in the 60s. Couroc was a husband and wife team that perfected their phenolic resin during World War Two when they shut down their original wares store to manufacture airplane parts for the war.
