Aww, thanks but the measurement can't be 6-8" when my head measures 23", lol! I actually need the inner circumference, all the way around the INSIDE BAND while stretched out. Thanks

@fashion4fatima lol! I had my husband help but we had a hard time holding tape measure and hat! He measured my head and mine is 22 inches. There is not much more room in it even stretched.

I agree, its VERY hard to get an accurate measurement for something using a metal non flexible measuring tape for 2 X 4's. I'm equally sure your husband would hate measuring a piece of lumber accurately using a flexible fabric measuring tape!
