Copper & Porcelain Double Boiler with Lid ~ Tin Lined ~ Brass Handles ~ Copper Pan with Lid ~ Bain Marie ~ Gift for the Cook This is a copper and porcelain stove-top double boiler (bain marie) with a tin lining. Filled to the top, the porcelain insert holds 2 quarts and the copper pan holds about 2 1/2 quarts. The pan can be used by itself with the lid or with the white porcelain pan that fits inside as a double boiler. The white porcelain is in perfect condition and marked Made in Korea. Both handles are brass as is the finial on the lid. The underside of the lid is tin-lined as well. The handles are sturdy and secure. From table top to tip of lid finial, porcelain in place, is 7 1/2". The copper pan is 6 5/8" in diameter at the top and 7 1/8" at the bottom. The whole set-up weighs about 5.5 lbs.
