Retro modernist convertible pendant-ring. Exceptional and unusual piece of jewelry, created in Italy during the mid-century period, back in the 1950. This is a convertible ring and a pendant crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with polished, engraved, Florentine and chiseled finishes. The ring is fitted with two pair of hinges to be open and close to convert it into a two ways drop pendant and display in a  chain. It is embellished with a great selection of  thirty-six natural earth mined gemstones such; diamonds, sapphires, onyx and Sardinian coral. Diamonds: Mounted in bezel settings, with 30 old European rose cut diamonds and 1 round brilliant cut diamond, with a total weight of  0.50 carats. Sapphires: Mounted in bezel settings, with 4 pear faceted cut of natural blue sapphires, with a combined weight of 1.40 carats. Onyx: Mounted in a bezel setting, with 1 oval flat cabochon cut carved from black onyx. Coral: Mounted in a bezel setting, with 1 oval cabochon cut (19 x 15 x 5 mm) carved from natural Italian Sardinian coral of 11.32 carats. Birthstone: Coral for the month of April and Sapphires for September. Weight: 20.90 Grams, (13.40 Dwt). Size: 10 and may be easily sized on request.
