Compact Paris Florentine pocket case

First of all this is so pristine. This was made by Hansaware Germany. Stamped clearly under the lip. This looks brand new. These originate from the 20’s and 30’s. This company closed there doors I think 4 or 5 years ago. They had made beautiful items since 1919. This would be lovely alone in your purse with credit cards and money for example. People used to place long cigarettes behind the straps inside. It has a simple spring closure that works amazing. Made from steel and nickel but it looks like beautiful shiny silver. This has a nice weight and is so sturdy . This engraving is most sought after. So lovely. Hard to take pictures because it takes on reflection of items around it. This has rounded sides. German steel us so strong. You will have this treasure forever. Happiest shopping.
