History of the cover art
Andrew Warhol graduated from the Pittsburgh College of Art and moved to New York to start work as a commercial artist. He contacted Columbia Records for work. The “Alexander Nevsky” was the second after Warhol‘s illustration for the re-issue of Columbia’s record “A Program of Mexican Music” by Carlos Chavez.
